Prefabricated timber panel houses

Wall and other building elements are prepared in the factory and assembled on site. A panel approach can accommodate different layouts; the panel dimensions and level of completion must be coordinated with the structural design, transport and assembly plan.

The offer should specify which construction layers, windows, doors and finishes are included. Compare the agreed scope, rather than a headline price per square metre alone.

Modular timber houses

Modular construction prepares a larger part of the building as a three-dimensional unit. Transport dimensions, route, lifting access and connections between modules need to be considered early. The amount of work completed in the factory depends on the agreed specification.

Timber frame houses

The timber frame is the load-bearing construction. The wall and roof build-up, insulation, airtightness and facade must be designed as one building system. Timber frame and prefabricated panel construction are related concepts: a timber frame can be incorporated into factory-made panels.

Advantage relocatable buildings

The Advantage concept illustrates a compact building for an office or living space. The intended use, services, site access and placement requirements must be checked for the particular location. Catalogue examples do not imply that a finished building is available from stock.

Custom timber buildings and glazing

For a non-standard building, start with the intended use and layout. Large windows, glazed facades and doors should be coordinated with the timber structure before production. We can discuss the connection between the house construction and our timber windows with structural glazing.

What to send for a house proposal

Send the project location, plans or a sketch, approximate floor area and required scope. Include access restrictions and the desired assembly period. Foundation and utility readiness, transport, lifting, assembly and finishing responsibilities should be stated in the project agreement.
